Installation Process of Reflective Road Studs

To make sure the reflective road studs gain real effects, we should focus on the installation of them. The installation of reflective road studs should obey the following procedures.

First, the priority among installation procedure and must not be ignored is that the protection isolation facilities should be set first before the installation of the reflective road stud. And in the process of the whole dynamic construction, all workers should be within the safety facilities no matter it is a new road or a traffic road. In the installation of reflective road studs on traffic roads, the ratio of security personnel and installation personnel should be 1:1. And that should be 1:3 in the road not open to traffic.

Second, make sure of the reflective road studs installation sites and guarantee smooth installation locations. Clean the road surface of cracks or uneven in advance to improve reflective road studs stability. Besides, clean the installation locations with a brush, and ensure the drying of installation positions of reflective road studs at the same time.

Third, smear a moderate amount of glue on the reflective road studs evenly, which cannot be too much or too little. Press the road stud tightly in the installation position with fingers in the right direction. If the glue is too much, the abundant part of the product must be cleaned up. (For cast aluminum road stud with foot screws, ensure that the depth of the hole is 1cm deeper than the depth of foot screw and the diameter of the hole should be 2mm wider than the diameter of foot screw.)

Fourth, an inspection of installed road studs should be carried out within two hours after the installation of the reflective road studs, ensure that all of the reflective road studs are not installed oppositely or askew.

At last, remove the isolation facilities after solidification of reflective road studs for 4 hours.
